Molly our dog is a rescued stray - a mongrel with a hint of lurcher or greyhound in her 'pedigree'. She had spent a year of the first 21 months of her life in the National Canine Defence League kennels in Honiley in Warwickshire when we rescued her. She was hard to home because she does not like men and is very aggressive towards them. We had to visit her regularly for a month till she came to trust Don before we could take her home. Now she loves him and follows him everywhere, but is still not to be trusted with other men. Somewhere in the nine months of her life before the dog warden found her abandoned and took her to Honiley, we think she was badly treated by a man.
